Secret Angel

She would come to me in the failing light, shortly before dawn. Wearing only a nightgown, her body swayed gracefully against the gloom. An outstretched finger to half startled lips, reminded me not to wake the others. With the most captivating smile she'd straddle this damaged form and calm this troubled mind.
