Hand And Hand We Walk

Take my hand,
And go with me on this journey,
Don't let go ,  
Feel my sorrow,
Taste my pain,
Drink of my tears,

Don't leave me alone,
Show me the way,
The way to a better place.
Hold my hand
Hold it tight,
Cause the road is too dark..


Alone you shall never be
I will be by your side,
Together we shall face this darkness.
Bathing in its beauty,
Dancing under the moonlight,

As you hold my hand,
I shall hold onto yours.


Together things seem more real,
More possible paths light up...
The dark seems to fade,
Crawling back underground.
Leaving our shadows to shine in the moonlight,
Our hands still tight,
Like an intertwined chain..


With your hand in mine,
A bond so tight,
I can breath again,
No longer choking on my tears.
For I am not alone,
You are with me; by my side
Dancing with me under a star lit sky.
I could never leave you,
For you were there for me,
You wiped away my tears,
When the pain engulfed me.
When the sorrow became
to much,
You were there, and shared
the burden that was in my heart.
When the blade tasted the sweetness
Of my own blood...
Never once did you judge,
Dressing up the damage,
Then holding my hand,
Telling me how much you cared.
Making me promise, never to do it again.


The path of life isn't an easy one,
A lot of bumps and cracks along the way,
A lot of things to make us give up
And let the call of that sweet shining blade
Pouring out that crimson blood...
Slowly making its way down....
Dripping.
Escaping.
Rushing out from under our skin.
But;
When one has his hand held tight,
There is no room for the blade,
The call can go unanswered,
The temptation left on the side of the road,
Disregarded like all other temptations...
Cast out from within our grasp.


With my hand in yours
And your hand in mine,
We shall dance in the moonlight
Under a star lit sky.
Together we shall face
The darkness inside,
Never shall I fear
With you by my side.
You drank off my tears,
You tasted my pain,
Felt all my sorrow
And never complained..
And as I look down
At your hand in mine,
You kept your promise
And never let go...


Glancing back,
Taking a small peak...
Looking at where we left off,
Seeing the road we have walked..
It wasn't easy, it really wasn't..
There was a lot of thing pushing us back,
A lot of things making us regret.
But look at where we are,
Look at the challenges we passed,
Look at where this all started,
No more tears falling,
A promise tying us together,
Helping us take one more step,
One more step
Closer to the light.


A light that we shall one day hope to see.
Until then we shall have the stars,
The moon and her beautiful rays,
Guiding us and leading the way.
No longer, is the darkness totally black
No longer are we to face this alone,
We have each other,
Hand and hand we shall walk
Destiny's road.
