Regrets Of The Heart
She looks down from the heavens
See's the tears flow from his eyes
Painful memories overwhelm him
With a hurt that never dies
Memories of that fateful day
When his whole world fell apart
One mistake that cost him dear
The two treasures of his heart
Because of that one mistake
That monumental error
His whole world would change
His heart would hurt forever
Angelic wrath from up above
Came crashing down on him,
Cursed for all eternity
To never sleep again.
An angels curse she cast
Through a tearful haze
The loss of one so innocent
Filled her heart with rage
Full of hurt and anguish
For the child she could not save
She acted out of vengeance
Her grief a tidal wave
Yet hate has no place in heaven
Her lack of grace it cost her dear
Cast from her place in heaven
She too shed many tears
For her actions that day
The wheels of time have turned
And a lonely angel still see's all
Watching one she cruelly cursed
And still his teardrops fall
Others see the dark lord
The one who thirsts for blood
But she see's inside his heart
To grief flowing like a flood
Her heart is filled with sorrow
For this curse she feels regret
She feels his pain and sorrow
On a new course this angels set
To his heart she's gently calling
A fallen angels mournful song
For peace at last she'd bring him
Forgiveness for his wrong....

Why Do You Do This?
Why do you do all of this
You stain your wrists
You cry all the damn time
You slip when you try to climb
You're in all this pain
Putting that blade to a vein
You dig it in, but not too deep
For now, that price is too steep
But will the day eventually come
A day when you are so very numb
That the price isn't too high
And you give up the will to try
God forbid that day should arrive
I want you to be happy and alive
Yet I freak out when you aren't there
Don't make me feel loss and despair

To the one left behind,
There were days when I thought that I couldn't live without you. Where I thought that everything I ever believed in was a lie. I thought that being around you was important and that our friendship was stronger than the very mountains we once stood on. However, as time has passed, I've come to realize these things are not important nor are they true. I never needed you.

You blame others for filthy lies
But yet, you fail to see
And still, you fail to listen
You assume, think you know
But you don't understand
I see you, hear you whine
Maybe you really miss her
Maybe you cannot understand
She has a life on her own
Come on, get up. I know it's hard
Move on, you can't have her back

See, the more you complain
The more pathetic it looks
Without a true apology
She is not to blame for this
She had suffered far too long

And for the last time "Stop!"
