An Angel's JourneyAn Angel's Journey

It has been a long journey to get where she is,
Walking in this darkness for so many years,
Lost in the shadows of her twisted mind,
Reliving the pain, that she was unable to leave behind,
So this darkness became her world; a blanket of a sort

In her world of darkness she stands on a cliff,
Looking out at the waves as they dance in the sea,
She remembers how she got here,
Remembering how it used to be,

Believing here she was safe from harm
Where no one could touch her heart,
Losing her inside this world;
It became a sanctuary for her soul;  

Darkness brought a quiet and silence
That was nee
Melting A Frozen HeartMelting A Frozen Heart

Laying here on a stone crypt,
The moon watching over me
As I rest here icy and alone,
A heart no longer that is warm,
It's completely frozen and cold,
Reaching all the way to my barren soul,

You lay there my little one
Embracing the bitter cold,
Thinking that there is nothing left
That you are all alone,
Feel my touch on your creamy skin,
Burning through the arctic cold that
Now encases your soul,

What is this foreign feeling
That is trying to touch my heart?
Reaching and searching around,
Leaving so much warmth,
Who is that strokes my skin,
With such tender hands,
What is this spark that
Don't Judge MeIn silence she suffered for so many years,
Never once crying,
Never shedding a tear,
Learned the hard way to not voice a sound,
So never once did she cry out loud,
She took the abuse of many for many years,
Suffering brutality and living in agonizing fear,
Beaten, raped, and emotionally scared,
Never once asking or crying for help,
No that wasn't her style.

Yet even after these years,
En-caged she has stayed,
Suffering nigh terrors and fears
In so many ways,
Not learning who to trust,
Or how to except love,
Yet not once did she scream or cry to anyone.

No one knew she was a victim of abuse,
No one would know,
Love BlossomsLove Blossoms

My Sun shines brightly, I can see her smile
I told her it would happen, the right one would come.
Always doubtful, but never was I
I saw it happening right before her eyes,
Then with one blink, he became hers
A seed bloomed, that was planted long ago,
A flower of love, a beautiful rose…
Christmas AloneChristmas Alone

Looking out the window,
At the lights below,
People bustling around,
Playing in the snow,

My head against the window,
I let out a sigh,
Closing my eyes tightly,
As my teardrops fall,

Emptiness is all I feel,
As empty as this house,
No holiday cheer or love,
No trees or gifts strewn about,

Silence is all you will hear,
No caroling or songs,
Drip drip is all you heed,
As my tears fall,

So I shall sit here,
Wishing with all my might,
That you were by my side,
Hoping that I wasn't alone;

Moribar had told the crew that once they retrieved the woman from the water to bring here to his cabin. He didn't trust the crew to not get excited and kill her before it was time. Moribar closed the door behind him and walked over to Riddle. His cold black eyes stared at her and he had the urge to just slit her throat right there. Moribar's hand started to go for his knife that was sheathed on his side.

It has been a long journey to get where she is,
Walking in this darkness for so many years,

So this darkness became her world; a blanket of a sort

What makes this piece even more spectacular is that it is a collaboration with :iconlong-lostlove:; who has created a magnificent picture to go with this poem.
Her picture portrays the two angels perfectly. I also would like to thank her for doing this with me, and that I look forward to doing more work with her in the future. :heart:

Wow..dear this has some honesty behind it..it screams to be heard! You have woven magic with your words and touched many a soul by your naked truth. You have such an incredible journey that you take people on that touches a very real part of one's inner self. Things we push aside you bring forward for deliberate thought. It's like you shine a light in the darkest of corners and force us to see. So well done..I have goosebumps :heart:

Oh sweet heart I know only to well your heart and soul are here. I adore that you can put words to it because it is something I believe that many deal with. You give them a way to express that which they feel. Bless you for that dear and for sharing such intimate feelings. I see and feel the honesty and I understand it only to well. Well we have awoken the one who will give you strength,and the ability to speak of the pain and
share it with all those who read this and take a good look at what can become of a person once they have been treated so badly..
She is your rock and protector of hurt and the feelings that are rising to the top..they must come out and the truth shall set you free!!!!! Amazing and you need to publish these!!
